Create Tag

This page provides the necessary information to guide the user through the process of creating a new tag for an already created company.

Prerequisites

In order to be able to complete this guide, the user must complete the following checklist:

Access the Companies Screen

From any screen within Alfred, click on the username located on the top right corner to display the user drop down menu.

With the dropdown menu open, click on the Companies button. This will redirect the user to the Companies Screen

Access a Company's tag list

In the Companies Screen, locate the desired company and click on the Tags button. This will open the list of tags for the company.

Access the Tag Creation form

In the Tag List popup , click on the Add New + button to open the Tag Creation form.

Complete the Tag Creation form

The tag creation form is divided into two sections that allow the user complete control over how the specific tag is handled by Alfred and all of its components. The two sections are General Info and Tools, once these two sections are complete click on the submit button to create the new tag.

General Info Section

The General Info section allows users to define key information that helps both users and the system accurately identify the content and structure of a tag. This ensures clear categorization, improves organization, and prevents misclassification of information.

Field
Descritption

Name

Indicates the unique name of the tag being created.

Description

This field provides a detailed explanation of the tag's purpose and what kind of information it encompasses.

Threshold

This field indicates the minimum classification threshold that the tag must meet to be classified. If the document does not meet this threshold it will receive an <empty> classification status.

Validation Threshold

System

This section is used to provide instructions or context to the system for processing and classifying text associated with the tag. In the example, the system is instructed to analyze the text, identify attributes, and ensure accurate classification of relevant content based on the tag.

Tools Section

This section allows the user to define tools, references and instruction on how to handle the information extracted from documents who are classified with the specific tag. This allows for streamlined processing of information.

Description

Example Data

This field allows users to upload files that contain example data. These files could be used to test or provide input data for validation or processing by the system. Users can either drag and drop files or browse their device to upload.

Don't validate

By selecting this option, the system will never require validation for documents classified under this tag.

Do not validate when precision is above average

By selecting this option, the system prevents validation if the precision in identifying the tag is higher than a specified threshold.

Do not validate duplicates

By selecting this option, the system will skip validation for entries that are detected as duplicates.

Always validate

Selecting this option forces the system to always validate data associated with the tag, regardless of any conditions or thresholds.

Don't extract

When this option is selected, the system will not extract specific data points from the uploaded data.

Propagate values to siblings on verification

This option allows the system to propagate or share verified values to related tags (siblings) if verification occurs.

Validate duplicate values

Feauture under construction.

Integration type

Dropdown menu that allows the user to select a type of integration with an external system or service that will work with the data or tag.

Cache template file

This field allows the user to upload a template file that will be used by the system to cache data or pre-fill information for future use.

Pre-processing

This field allows the user to upload pre-processing file that contains scripts or instruction on how the system should handle the document before validation.
